SPA design and building for hotel in Croatia
Hotel Materra is a new structure in the Croatian countryside. For this reason, in this SPA design and building for hotel, great space was given to panoramic windows in all cabins.
Our experienced designers have worked in close collaboration with the architects and the hoteliers to make the SPA environment consistent with the concept of the entire structure. In particular, the Carmenta team has designed and built cabins for both hot and cold treatments.
Building Finnish Sauna with Aufguss
For the construction of the spa for this hotel have been thought more cabins. First of all the treatments is the traditional Finnish dry sauna. This environment is characterized by very high temperatures (80-100°C) with a relative humidity between 3% and 6%. Given the generous space available in the cabin and the location of the stove, it's possible also use the sauna for the ritual of Aufguss. This ritual combines well-being with leisure, in fact, the sauna master, after throwing on the stones of the water stove or ice flavored with balsamic essences, skillfully moves a towel to direct the steam generated towards the guests of the sauna.
Design of a cabin with double function: Biosauna and Herbal Sauna
Another "warm soft" treatment included in this hotel spa project is the Biosauna. This cabin allows you to enjoy a treatment with a higher percentage of relative humidity (20-40%) and a lower temperature (40-60 ºC) in order to give an alternate treatment.
In this building of wellness center for hotels, this cabin is not limited to the use as biosauna, but it has been provided a tray or brazier where you can prepare aromatic and balsamic herbs. These last sprayed by the water nebulized from the stainless steel dispenser placed above the stove, release their essences to effuse inside the sauna. This type of treatment is called Herbal Sauna or Herbal Sauna.
Realization of a Steam Bath for hotel
The latest warm treatment included in the design and construction of this spa for hotel in Croatia is the steam bath. The steam bath is a thermal treatment with a very high relative humidity (85-90% with temperatures between 42 and 47 ºC). We chose to include in the project a booth from our Dream collection with benches and cloud steam outlet in white Corian and walls covered with our porcelain tiles Calacatta Gold.
Complete wellness paths: Ice Fountain and Relax Area
Absolutely necessary to quickly cool the body after treatments such as sauna and steam room is an ice fountain. It is important, in fact, to always provide an element that allows a hot-cold reaction in the design and building of a spa. In this SPA the designers have chosen to dedicate a circular niche for the ice fountain.
A SPA for hotel must always provide a relax area where you can relax and integrate the lost liquids, that’s why it is important to provide a mobile for herbal teas, where you can provide tea, herbal teas and infusions with dried and dried fruit or fresh fruit. In the design and building of this SPA for hotel in Croatia furniture for hebal teas has been inserted, in fact, in the relax area where Carmenta has designed and built a salt wall, thus creating a relaxing and suggestive environment that fits well into the natural context in which the hotel is located.
